Four Years
It really it hard to believe that tomorrow marks four years that Taco has been gone. Every year, it seems like I react differently to this not-so-happy anniversary.
This year, I'm struggling to find the words to describe how I feel. I'm sort of numb about it. So, instead of trying to force out the words that just don't seem to be coming to me, I'll just share this video picture show that I made about six months after he died.
If you want to read the series of posts that I wrote last year about Taco, click here for a page containing them.

That was so beautiful - it is easy to feel the love you have for Taco - that was one very special relationship.

I remember your wonderful series of posts you did about dear Taco. Sorry for your loss. HUGS!
Hugs to you today. I hope the anniversary gets easier with time, and you find a way to celebrate your relationship.
The video was a beautiful tribute. He was a very handsome boy! I re-read most of the Taco posts from last year. I loved reading them last year (until I got to the end and realized the end of the story) and it's so easy to see the close bond you two shared.
Every year on the "anniversary" that Sonny was euthanized, I react differently too. Some years are harder than others. Either way, it's still surprising how fresh everything feels.
Not knowing what you feel isn't the same as not feeling anything.
Sending a big hug to you today! Taco was a wonderful horse and friend - your video is such a great tribute!
That tribute brought tears to my eyes. So many wonderful photos and memories captured within. (((hugs)))
Your story brought huge lumps to my eyes. I have never heard of Taco before now but the love and bond between you two, that will never end!
I loved your beautiful video too!!
Sending a big huge to you!
Taco sure was a sweet looking old man. You both are so fortunate to have shared some time together.
So sad...but you have good memories to hold on to
