Walking In A Cloud

Marge, Jessica and I took a walk in a totally fogged-over field this morning. Though we were minutes from our house, it felt like we were in the middle of no where. Anything more than a few hundred feet away was totally invisible. No sounds, no sights - the complete opposite of our successful day on Friday in the midst of a 300+ dog agility trial, but a cool experience nevertheless.

Here are just two candids of Marge from our outing. I was dropping pieces of cookie into her mouth and trying to snap a photo.

Marge says, HAAAAAPPY EASTER!

After this weekend, where Marge got a well-deserved rest, we're going to switch gears a little bit. Our APDT Rally Trial is in three weeks. So, I plan on using my ring time tomorrow to set up a course and practice a bit. We also might be dropping in to agility class, the last indoor class before we move back out to the field. I love doing all of this work with my dog - and I'm glad that she enjoys it, too!

Hi Sam,
What a beautiful place to visit on Easter Sunday! You guys are lucky! You must have a good camera or a good eye or both to capture Marge in those poses! When I try to photograph Daisy while handing her a treat my finger gets in the way! Nice pictures! Happy Easter!

Petsitgal - I keep trying to comment your blog, but the comments aren't working. I think it might be from your new layout.

Luv those foggy pix! And a very Happy Easter to you, Marge! Since we've been out of the loop for a bit, I looked at your agility movies! HUGE CONGRATS on the qualifying round!!! Of course, they both look so totally awesome to me - Marge - you are amazing, fast and I am just so glad your paw/foot is all bettah!!! Have fun prepping for the next trial!
Hugs xo

PS: tagged you for a meme! Cmon over! You may have done it - if so...sorry!

Wow, what a nice morning to visit that field! There was so much fog.

Yeah, Rosie's the pit mix. I don't know where they usually trial, but she's definitely advanced. It was nice seeing the new dogs through the Canine Partners program.

As for Jamesburg, I'm not 100% sure but I probably will. That's going to be one of the last trials for the summer, so I'll probably want to get in one last trial before it gets unbearable. Plus, that's supposed to be my weekend off from work, so I'll take advantage of the Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

Marge, you're going to scare the Easter Bunny off with a shot like that! We're glad you had such a great experience this weekend!

Happy Easter, Guys.

Wow, Rally coming up fast after the big agility trial. You two put the rest of us to shame. We can only concentrate on one thing at a time.

I love the last picture of Marge, I got it, I got it, I got that cookie!!!

I think it is so cool that it is obvious you like working with your dog and Marge just seems to be thrieving with it.

Thanks so much for the wonderful comments you made on our blog--you are such a neat person and always have such nice things to say to everyone ;-), wish we lived closer and could all train together.

Enjoy your morning!

Haha! Those last two pictures of Miss Marge are the bestest! She makes me smile LOTS! Oh, and mom says you're WAY more coordinated (she had to spell that for me) than she is cuz she could never toss a cookie and work the flashy beast at the same time.

I used to love those foggy mornings when it felt like it was just me and the dogs, alone in the world. Then reality would happen.

Marge, you make the bestest funny faces of all the doggies we know☺

The scenery is beautiful, and I love the candid shots! So great to read about what you are doing with her. It's always nice to see a dog with a job, and even better to see a dog that loves her job!

Love the picture of Marge racing along. And, of course, the Happy Easter pix! Lol!

Rally is next? You guys are an inspiration to me!

Keep it up!

LOVE the running Marge photo. Please tell me more about the lead you're using... Sissy LOVES to run in the same, wide-open fashion, but simply cannot be off-lead...

Your zoomin in and out of that fog like a pro! Looks like fun! Especially with cookie noms!

Walking in the fog can be so much fun - it is like it is just us out for a walk.

AC April 5, 2010 at 7:06 PM

Love the fog shots! Fog is my favorite outing weather (when I know where I'm going).

I hope you guys got to soak up your holiday weekend after your big trial week. Can't wait to hear about your Rally work.

Roxanne @ Champion of My Heart April 5, 2010 at 8:04 PM

Walking in the fog/clouds is always interesting. Tell Miss Marge we say Hoppy Spring.
