My Little Huntress
Dog on a mission - Marge attempting to single-handedly tackle squirrel overpopulation, one unlucky tree-rat at a time.
What the picture doesn't show is the foot-in-the-air leaps and yips that further characterized her sinister plot.
It's that crisp n' cool time of year again, and Marge is full of energy and full of herself. This is just the beginning!

We SOOOOOO recognised THAT position!
Those pesky squirrels. Always one upping the dogs by climbing trees. One of these days....
Be careful, marge! I'm betting you're fast enough to catch one of those tree rats!
I wish mom would stop teaching me so many useless tricks and teach me something I could actually use - how to climb a tree! :)
How funny! Riley is pretty sure that she can climb trees to get to those pesky little creatures!
I'm convinced that they tease the dogs on purpose though...little brats!
Oh, if only we could climb trees, just imagine what we could do . . .

Love that photo!!! When my dogs do that, it means a bear or lion is in the tree! They've given up on tree squirrels to focus on the ground-bound ones, like chipmunks.
I'm so happy that Marge is enjoying the fall weather! Yay!

Squirrels make my dogs crazy!! I think the squrrels know it too. Diana
How funny, Marge is on her squirrel exercise program, can you imagine how that builds muscle with those four foot in the air leaps? LOL, those squirrels are lucky the trees are high!
Squirrel patrol is important dog work. Good technique, Marge.

I've probably mentioned it before, but Layla figured out that if she body slams the fence with her shoulder, she has a 50/50 chance of the squirrels falling into our yard. One day she'll get one, and it might be her proudest moment.
Now that it's fall, the squirrels are just in their trees making noises and teasing the dogs - they've got it coming!
I really hope I can go to the Staten Island trial too! It's the last outdoor one. I was iffy about Dream Park being indoors, and on dirt, but if I don't get any exposure there this fall, I'd have to risk taking her out next year in it - or waiting until the first weekend of April for East Freehold. It sounds so far away, which it is, 6 whole months. This agility stuff is addicting.
Ah, the thrill of the hunt. I am still chasing rabbits out of my yard every night.

BOL :) Looks like Marge and I share the same obsession :)

I can just see her leaping and barking in my mind ;)

Hooray for crisp n' cool times of the year!! So much fun to see our cool-weather-loving dogs at their happiest.
Yay for Fall and full-energy Marge! Kona's on constant squirrel patrol in our yard. While it helps get some energy out, the high pitch arf that accompanies it probably doesn't thrill the neighbors...
Hope the cool temps brings more fun times for Miss Marge.
Get them all, Marge!
Fall is my favorite season of the year!
Take care

Marge is a dog after my own heart!
Guess what? My mom person & I have created a new blog at www.PetBlogsUnited.com.
We'd love it if you would come over and check it out & become a member. It's a great new place for pet bloggers to find each other, and get an opportunity to be a featured blog!

Excellent work!
We have a cyclone fence around our little back yard and the squirrels walk around outside it knowing I can't get them. But they also cross the electrical wires going from one corner to another, and they have to fall sometime, they just have to. And when they do, I'm gonna be waiting for them . . .
Good luck, Marge and good luck to me,
Stella
