Treetops

Here are some pictures from our hike Tuesday morning.  The weather was absolutely wonderful, and, since autumn is finally starting to set in, it seemed like a good day to catch a glimpse of life among the trees.

(Don't mind our squinty eyes!)

I'd go to the woods so much more often if I wasn't wary of going alone, but, thankfully, Marge and I seem to be getting there a fair amount lately, anyway.  Hoping for a long hike this weekend.

Love the three smiles! Fall is definitely the best time for hiking! Between all the colors, fabulous smells in the air, and crisp temperatures, it's all I can do to stay inside!

OOOH I miss the trees changing colors, we just do not have that much here in the california desert. Now that is a happy group of three in the last picture!

For the second time in the last week, all I'm getting is your photo frames, but no photos. Everyone else seems to be able to see them so I'm guessing that it's a problem on my end.

Anyway, I'm glad that you and Marge had fun in the forest!

Hey Marge! My V-E-T can't figure out what is wrong with my bottom. All my x-rays look perfect and when she manipulated my hiney she didn't feel any clicking or anything so it is hard to know. It could just be big dog stuff or maybe some of my softy tissues got injured and are taking a long time to heal. It is most frustrating.

Cuz toys are great because they bounce in unpredictable ways and then when you bitey them they make great sounds.

Oh yeah, I am still taking antibiotics for my tick diseases which the V-E-T thought might have been causing my ouchie bottom, but now we are not so sure.

I get so homesick seeing some things... like the changing colors of fall. Then I rember what 's coming and I can be glad to be stuck in dirtville, all winter long!

Wow! Looks like you guys are on the verge of enjoying a lovely fall color extravaganza! I would love to see pix of the changing colors if you have time. We don't get that out here.

Marge looks sooooooooo happy! What a great picture of you guys!
