Rough Ruff

I recorded this the other night.  Marge was antsy and looking for something to do.  She went over to Layla and play bowed, but got swatted at (as is usually the case).  Then, she came over to me seeking a solution.

I've never posted a video of Marge barking.  She's not a big barker. It took her a week when she first got here to even let out one bark.  Things like this only happen on infrequent occasion.

So, I present to you - attention seeking, overstimulated, bored, playful, and loud Marge.

Aw, very cute! (You're lucky that she's not generally a barker - I think we had L for a week before he stopped barking!)

Hi Marge,

It was great to finally hear from you! BOL Me and Banjo get kinda loud when we play. I growl and Banjo barks!

How cute, you can almost hear her asking WHY??? I just want to play! Marge is so adorable!

I'm starting to think that R and Marge are closely related. The look in her eyes as she barked at you was so much like his attention-demanding look (accompanied by similar barks). Hysterical!

Misty barks ALL the time. I was hesitant to play the video, because I thought it would send both my dogs into a bark symphony.

Neither seemed to notice. Guess they like Marge :)

Sometimes you just have to give your humans a good talkin to. I don't say much, but when I do, I MEAN it!

Gus, Louie and Callie December 18, 2009 at 4:44 PM

So did you get some attention after that Marge? Louie usually chases his tail about that time...
Yepper it is hard to believe Marley is still the same pup sis brought home. She didn't know how to play but now everything has changed...

I'm not a big barker either, unless there's something near our yard...like a squirrel or a leaf or air.

:)

The good part of being quiet is that when you do speak, everyone listens. Natasha sure knows that.

Natasha December 19, 2009 at 10:23 AM

funny Marge! :) Wall-e isn't a big barker either.
